Epilogue

To You Who Love God:

We know that Jesus did many other miraculous things in the presence of his disciples which are not written down in this book. I suppose that if every one of them were recorded as well, even the whole world would not have room for the books written. But the disciples who personally witnessed all that Jesus did and taught have testified that this account is true. And I myself have written about these things so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing in his identity, you also may have life.

No one has ever seen God, but we have seen the glory of God. The One and Only - who came from the Father full of grace and truth and who is again at the Father’s side - has made him known to us. From the fullness of his grace, we have all received one blessing after another. And, here and now, Jesus calls to us as he has throughout the ages: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come, the Almighty. Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. Do not be afraid, for I am the Living One, who was dead and is alive for ever and ever. And all who are called by my name will share my victory."

Come, Lord Jesus! May your grace be with us all! And, to this, God's people say:

"Amen."
